The Subclass 186 ENS Visa is a Permanent Residence Visa for skilled workers who will be nominated by an eligible Australian employer. This can be availed of both offshore and onshore, by foreigners outside Australia or foreign skilled workers already living and working in Australia.
The ENS Visa has three entry streams:
Temporary Residence Transition: This is designed for Subclass 457/482 visa holders who have already worked with their nominating employer in the nominated occupation for a minimum of at least two years for Subclass 457 visa holders who held their visa on or before 18 April 2017, and for a minimum of three years for all others.
Direct Entry: This stream is designed for foreign skilled workers outside of Australia, or those already in Australia who do not hold a Subclass 457/482 visa, or have only briefly worked in the Australian labour market.
Agreement: This stream is designed for foreign skilled workers to be sponsored by their employer through a labour or regional migration agreement.
