VETASSESS launches Priority Processing

Effective as of Tuesday, August 1, General Professional Occupation applicants will have the option to fast track the review of their skills assessments with VETASSESS, with eligible applicants receiving outcomes in just 10 business days.

All applications for Priority Processing must apply online. Paper-based applications will not be accepted. VETASSESS has a processing time of up to two business days to determine if an applicant is eligible for the new fast-track scheme. No additional documentation can be added to an application once it has been submitted for Priority Processing.

The list of required documentation to be reviewed for eligibility of Priority Processing include high-quality colour copies of the following original documents. Any original documents not in English must be accompanied by an accredited English translation.

  • Application Fee
  • Recent passport-sized colour photograph
  • Proof of identity
  • Evidence of name change (if applicable)
  • Qualification evidence
  • Employment evidence
  • Resume / curriculum vitae

The 10 business day period will commence after the applicant has been deemed to have met all Eligibility Criteria for Priority Processing, and full fee payment has been received. For applicants who do not meet the eligibility criteria, or whose assessments are not completed in the stated 10-day timeframe, Priority Processing fees will be refunded.
